Lilacs Lavenders Purples Square Stainless Steel Pendant Made with Glass Cabochon on Bezel Tray and Upcycled Mixed Media Paper Art - 22-07
from $33.00
Sold Out
**4th WEEK FREEBIE ENDING 9/30 - Every jewelry purchase comes with a 5x7 signed, stamped, and dated print of the mixed media painting that the piece is taken from. If you buy multiple pieces of jewelry from the same print, you can choose another print from my store - message me with your selection."
This listing is for a single pendant (#22-07), 2.8cm in total width by 2.8cm in total length, and 3.8cm in total length from the top of the bail to the bottom of the frame. The image length and width is 2.5cm by 2.5 cm. It is in shades of lilacs, lavenders, purples, and a little pink, cut from an upcycled print of my painting "Five Ladies" (can you find all five ladies - although I've since discovered one more . . . and possibly a gentleman) - the pendant does not show one of the ladies.
When I am preparing my stock of prints in different sizes, some of them do not turn out at the printer - they're bad cuts or they come off of the machine slightly discolored or damaged. I ask the printer not to discard these and I upcycle them to use in my jewelry-making. I cut out portions of the picture that seem to make an interesting focal point in a piece of jewelry. The cardstock is sealed with acrylic and installed between a glass cabochon and a stainless stee bezel tray. The three components are then combined with various adhesives.
No two pieces are identical, although I can usually find enough similarities with another piece to make a matching set, as with earrings or pairing with a ring. Usually, I can also take a request to create a similar piece, although there will usually be some variations. Most of my jewelry naturally coordinates, regardless of what mixed media painting they are taken from.
The pendant is available on its own (no chain or cord purchased) for $33.00, or on an 18-inch fabric cord for $35 or on a 32-inch stainless steel chain for $40.00. This pendant is a little heavier than the others I make and is not available on the lighter gauge 18-inch chains.
Avoid Water
Due to the glues, sealants, and paper involved, these pieces aren’t “water-loving.” I discourage wearing them while bathing, swimming, or dancing in the rain.
Free Shipping
Single jewelry orders are wrapped in bubble wrap, sealed in a bubble mailer marked as fragile, and shipped First Class with a tracking number. Combined orders will be shipped Priority Mail with a tracking number.
Replacement Due to Compromised Materials
My jewelry products have their own replacement policy that is separate from art and photography prints. If one of my pieces falls apart or comes unglued, send me a photo to help@manscribe.com. Then, 1) if you’re attached to that specific piece, I can coach you on reassembly, if that’s possible, or 2) you keep your original purchase and I will ship you a replacement piece, as similar as I can find in my stock.
