Contact me (using my Contact form or emailing imagery@manscribe.com), about creating a similar piece for you. No two pieces from my art jewelry collection are identical. Even if I incorporated the same section of the same art print, the sealants, adhesives, and, where applicable, the resins I used play a part in the final visual appearance and texture. The effects are one-of-a-kind. But together, we can come up with a piece that will be uniquely yours.

This listing is for a single round pendant (#22-08), 2.8cm in diameter and 3.5cm in total length from the top of the bail to the bottom of the pendant frame. The image size is 2.5cm in diameter. It is in shades of fuchsia, pinks, teal, mint green, and whites, cut from an upcycled print of my mixed media painting "Fourth Anniversary." The cardstock is sealed with acrylic and installed between a glass cabochon and a silver-tone metal bezel tray. The three components are then combined with various adhesives. I actually love it when the adhesive becomes another medium of the piece and lends extra texture and dimension, as is the case with this piece.

When I am preparing my stock of prints in different sizes, some of them do not turn out at the printer - they're bad cuts or they come off of the machine slightly discolored or damaged. I ask the printer not to discard these and I upcycle them to use in my jewelry-making. I cut out portions of the picture that seem to make an interesting focal point in a piece of jewelry.

No two pieces are identical, although I can usually find enough similarities with another piece to make a matching set, as with earrings or pairing with a ring. Usually, I can also take a request to create a similar piece, although there will usually be some variations. Most of my jewelry naturally coordinates, regardless of what mixed media painting they are taken from.

The pendant is available on its own (no chain or cord purchased) for $30.00, or on an 18-inch gold-tone chain or an 18-inch fabric cord for $35.

Avoid Water

Due to the glues, sealants, and paper involved, these pieces aren’t “water-loving.” I discourage wearing them while bathing, swimming, or dancing in the rain. I have tried to use more water-resistant glues and sealants on the rings, because I want you to be able to wash your hands while wearing them – but it’s even better if frequent handwashers (like me – good for you) can remove rings first.
